Patient Portal

 

To access the patient portal, ask the receptionist to send a portal invitation to you via email, accept it, and set up your account. Or click on Patient Portal and follow the instructions. With the assistance of the patient portal, we can provide timely communication with you and avoid missed calls, forgotten care plan instructions, and the relaying of messages between office staff, your provider, and you. Together we can provide the care that you desire, need, and deserve.

 

Accessing the Kareo Patient Portal

 

  • The easiest way to access the patient portal is to accept the portal invitation when we send it to you via email and set up your account. You can also sign up by clicking on Kareo Portal Login and following the instructions given.
  • Once you get to the login page we strongly recommend that you bookmark that page so you can easily find it in the future. You can also access the login page anytime by typing https://portal.kareo.com into your browser.
  • If you need to reset your portal password, click on the "Forgot your password?" link on the Kareo login page and follow the instructions given.
  • If you need to change your email or have other issues getting into your patient portal account, click on Contact Kareo

Patient Portal Survey

 

Once you have signed up for the patient portal, we ask that you take the time to complete a brief survey regarding Patient Portal use by clicking this SURVEY LINK. The information you provide on the survey will be used for research in a study conducted by Shawnee Montierth, FNP. The purpose of this research is to understand current patient portal use by patients at Tarter Family Medicine in order to help increase patient portal use in the future. All patients at Tarter Family Medicine are invited to participate. Participation is voluntary and declining to participate will have no effect on services received or relationships with providers. Completing the survey implies your consent to participate in the study. Your answers and participation will be completely anonymous. The care you receive from your provider will not be altered or affected based on your participation or responses. The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
