As we celebrate 5 years in practice, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have entrusted your health care and your very lives to us.  We consider this a privilege and do not take this lightly.  You have become part of the fabric of our life, we enjoy our visits with each and every one of you, and look forward to your visits.

At Tarter Family Medicine we treat you like family because you become our family.  Your health and wellbeing are our top priority.  When you feel good, we feel good. When you have a milestone, we celebrate with you. When you hurt, we hurt, and when you lose a loved one, we grieve too.

We initially started this practice as a place where individuals could come, have a quality experience, and leave feeling validated and cared for.  It is always our goal for you to become a partner in your own health care.  We’ve accomplished this with extended patient visits and by hiring the skilled, talented, kind, and loving team members that you have come to know and trust.  Additionally, we provide home care services for our homebound patients and telemedicine visits to reach those who need care but don’t have the means to get to the office.  Your visit doesn’t end when you leave.  We are tirelessly working behind the scenes coordinating your care with insurance companies, specialists and other services.

To continue to provide the best level of care possible for those of you who are currently patients we recently sat down as a team and brainstormed ways to make the patient experience even better and to reflect on what it is that makes us stand apart from traditional medical care. We appreciate those of you who have cared enough to give us feedback so we can best serve you.

Some of the changes we have made include:

Lifestyle medicine integrated into each visit

Natural solutions with doTERRA essential oils and products

Change in Office hours

More same-day sick access

More telemedicine access

Closed our practice to new patients other than those living in the same household with existing patients.

Our commitment has, is, and will continue to be each of you who are patients.

When you need us, we are here for you.  We are glad you are part of our family

Warmly, Dr. Cherese Tarter and the TFM Team
